  • Where is the festival taking place?
    Second Sky Festival will be held at the Oakland Arena Grounds at 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland, CA 94621. Please visit our Getting Here page for more information on how to get to the festival site.
  • How do I get to the new venue location?
    Oakland Arena Grounds are conveniently located right off the 880 Freeway and directly adjacent to the Coliseum BART Station for easy access by car/rideshare/public transportation. Please visit our Getting Here page for more information on how to get to the Second Sky Festival.
  • I have purchased a hotel package, what does the venue change mean for me?
    There will be a free shuttle service to Second Sky Festival from the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina for all guests who have purchased hotel packages. The Oakland Arena Grounds are located 13 miles from the hotel, with easy freeway access via the I-580/880 freeways.

    We will be in contact directly with all hotel package purchasers as we near the festival with more information on the shuttle service. Additionally, we will continue to update the Getting Here page with information on the shuttle service as we move closer to the festival.
  • The festival venue has changed, do I need to do anything as a ticket holder?
    No! Your tickets are still valid and you have absolutely nothing you need to do other than show up to the Oakland Arena Grounds.
  • The change in venue has caused me problems based on plans I previously made. How can I get in touch for help?

  • Is the festival still taking place outdoors?
    The festival will take place OUTDOORS on the grounds of the Oakland Arena property.
  • How do I get my tickets?
    Physical tickets will no longer be shipped. You will now receive a mobile ticket 1-2 weeks before the event. Mobile tickets will be delivered electronically to the email address associated with your order. Please either download or print out your tickets prior to arrival for the quickest entry into the event. You will receive your physical, souvenir ticket as you enter the festival.

    If you need to update your email address please contact Festival Ticketing Purchase Support at 855-487-6848 (between the hours of 10am – 4pm PT). The last day to update your email address is September 1st, 2021.
  • Who can I contact for questions regarding my tickets?
  • Can I transfer my pass(es) to friends or family?
    As long as the ticket is valid, anyone can use it for entrance in the event, not just the purchaser.

  • What time does the event end?
    The festival will end at 10:00pm on Saturday, and 9:40pm on Sunday.

  • Are there free water refill stations?
    Yes. We have hydration stations with multiple water fountains to refill your water bottle.
  • Do you need volunteers to work the event?
    No, we are not accepting volunteers to work the event.

    No. We are not hiring to work the event.

  • Will there be lockers?

  • When should I arrive? When can I line up?

  • How many stages will there be?
    There will be one stage at the venue.
  • When will the set times come out?
    Check back for more info closer to the event.
  • Smoking allowed? Vape or E cig?
    Single use minis (a.k.a. cig-a-likes) are okay. Mid-sized e-cigs and vape pens are okay. However, no liquid refills will be allowed into the venue. Only unopened packs of cigarettes will be admitted.
  • Can I pass out flyers or promote at the event inside the venue? Outside?
    No. Any sort of unapproved promotion is not allowed.
  • Can I bring my bike? Will there be bike parking available?
    There will not be bike parking on site.
  • Can I bring a sign or a totem?
    No signs are allowed. This includes all handheld signs or signs and items attached to poles or pool noodles or apparatus used to display anything above the head. All instances will be subject to surrender and not returned.
  • What about bringing my medical prescriptions (asthma, insulin, etc.)?
    Before entering the event, please make sure all of the medications are properly labeled with name, phone number, and emergency contact. Names on prescriptions must match the person's ID. Notify a security guard at the entrance and the medical staff on site will assist you with storing your medications.
